5-D Systems, a KRATOS Company, is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Operating Systems Maintenance (OSM) Product Owner (PO). This position works as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office.

5-D Systems, a KRATOS Company, is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Operating Systems Maintenance (OSM) Product Owner (PO). This position works as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing/understanding Systems Engineering concepts/designs/algorithms
- Working with Program Management to set priorities for new capabilities and defects and providing guidance to the OSM team for each Program Increment (PI) and Sprint.
- Supporting the team in the development of acceptance criteria for OSM tasks and stories, as well as responsibility for the verification of work performed by the OSM team.
- Working with the Cyber team to maintain a suitable cyber posture for deployed OS products.
- Technical briefings, demonstrations, and advisement to leadership.
- Report on status; recommended courses of actions, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance or higher
- A bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics,
- Minimum of 7 years of combined Government/DoD experience in performing the responsibilities above
- Fluent in Microsoft Office Toolset
- The ability to "move out" and champion your ideas, architectures, designs, enthusiasm; independent critical thinking
- A team attitude
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS
- Experience in JIRA/Confluence
- Security + and Linux experience
- Agilist Certification
