Do Something Wonderful!

Intel put the Silicon in Silicon Valley. No one else is this obsessed with engineering a brighter future. Every day, we create world changing technology that enriches the lives of every person on earth. So, if you have a big idea, let's do something wonderful together. Join us, because at Intel, we are building a better tomorrow.

Who We Are

The world is transforming - and so is Intel. Here at Intel, we believe the world needs technology that can enrich the lives of every person on earth. We work every single day to design and manufacture silicon products that empower people's digital lives. Do you love to solve technical challenges that no one has solved yet? Do you enjoy working with cross functional teams to deliver solutions for products that impact customers lives? If so, Come join us to do something wonderful.
This is an opportunity to be part of an Analog mixed-signal design team developing innovative power delivery technologies.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates complex analog and mixed signal circuit designs for analog and mixed signal hardware systems.
  • Determines creative design approaches and parameters.
  • Drive layout and perform post-layout simulations with extracted parasitic and do appropriate tuning of the circuits to meet the desired specs.
  • Designs analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for power delivery using CMOS process technologies.
  • Conducts experimental tests and evaluates results

Who You Are

Join Intel Post Silicon Validation Team to work on the latest CPU technologies. The role entails the following:
  • Defines, develops, and performs functional validation for CPUs, focusing on validation of the CPU internals and CPU integration in system level features for Intel performance and power efficient cores.
  • Develops post silicon validation infrastructure (e.g., performance monitors, behavioral checkers, state space coverage) and test environment used in validation testing.
  • Executes post silicon test plan and performs silicon debug to identify root causes and resolves all functional and triage failures for CPU issues.
  • Tests interactions between various CPU features using validation infrastructure.
Applies various hardware and software level tools and techniques to ensure validation coverage and that performance, power, and area goals are met.
  • Reviews proposed design changes to assess impact on validation plans, tasks, and timelines.
Develops CPU validation methodologies and test plans, executes validation plans, and collaborates with other engineers for design optimization, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
  • Applies knowledge of CPU core architecture, processor microarchitecture, and design.
Publishes CPU validation reports summarizing all validation activities performed, reviews results, and communicates to relevant teams.
  • Works with architecture, design, verification, board, platform, and manufacturing teams to maintain and improve debug, validation test strategy, methodologies, and processes for CPU interfaces and to meet desired product specifications.
  • Develops content to create or increase specific IP interactions using a variety of tools and techniques (including patching techniques using microcode, firmware, or custom OS builds).
