Responsibilities:
- Design and development of high-performance analog integrated circuits, including amplifiers, data converters, voltage regulators, and other analog signal processing circuits.
- Conduct detailed design simulations, verification, and validation to ensure circuit performance meets specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital designers, layout engineers, and system architects, to ensure seamless integration of analog and digital components.
- Drive innovation by researching and implementing advanced design techniques, methodologies, and emerging technologies.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Participate in design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the improvement of design processes and standards.
- Support the testing, characterization, and debugging of analog ICs, working closely with the test engineering team to optimize performance and yield.
- Document design specifications, methodologies, and test results, ensuring comprehensive and accurate technical documentation.
Requirements:
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on CMOS analog/mixed-signal integrated circuit design
- 10+ years of experience in analog or mixed-signal IC development in advanced CMOS processes (PhD experience may be considered as experience), successful tape-out experience with leading foundries
- Strong knowledge in analog/mixed signal circuits such as OpAmps, bandgap, voltage/current references
- Familiar with common EDA environment tools, CAD tools and Analog design methodology including design, simulation, layout, and verification tools (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor Graphics etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of analog mixed-signal concepts like mismatch mitigation, linearity, stability, low-power and low-noise techniques
- Hands-on experience with analog mixed-signal IC development from definition to high-volume production including layout supervision and bench characterization
- Strong experience in system level analog/mixed-signal design
- Well experienced in FinFet nodes
- Ability to create innovative architecture and circuit solutions to meet customer requirements
- Ability to work in a startup environment and to work both independently and as a team player
Experience in one or more of the following areas considered a strong plus:
- Hands-on experience in data converter (Client/DAC) design and techniques
- Hands-on experience in memory design or in-memory computing circuit design
- Hands-on experience in AMS design and verification methodology
