This is a high visibility position working directly with the executive leadership of a complex Indirect supply chain. This role requires analytical and reporting skills, communication skills, strategic acumen, the ability to organize and prioritize a high volume workload, proven success in a team environment, and grace under pressure.
Our analyst is responsible for leading the data governance team for Indirect, our Indirect reporting for key and critical metrics, monthly aggregation of data from the P&Ls also known as Strategic Business Units (SBUs) to compile critical intelligence to drive additional projects, savings, process optimization, and efficiency of tools and services. Creation of reports and dashboards and maintenance of existing dashboards is critical as well.
This individual can sit at any Collins Aerospace domestic location or remote.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Work directly with leadership of the Indirect Supply Chain Leadership including the Commodity Management organization and the SBU Indirect leaders regarding key sourcing initiatives, liaising with supply chain leaders on reporting of key supply chain metrics and initiatives including cost reduction, average payment terms, contracts tracking, contract penetration, supplier reduction, and other metrics.
- Manage key processes associated with data and data governance: Lead our taxonomy efforts for data collection and categorization of key and critical suppliers. Organize and coordinate approval meetings with key leaders, gather key information on contracts and suppliers, focus on rationalization of the supply base with sub-tier classification of suppliers by commodity, implement contracting process improvements. May involve working with Digital and Strategy & Systems teams to support implementation of new tools including spend tools for our business, data cleansing, and migrating existing data.
- Develop presentations for key engagements including: annual planning event for goals and metrics (Macroplan), supply chain reviews with leadership (Monthly Business Reviews), meetings with suppliers, all-hands employee meetings, and executive reviews.
- Help manage key supplier meetings including coordinating for high level events, supplier conferences, and other executive level supplier engagements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience. In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder
- Must be willing and able to travel 10%-15% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business, engineering, information technology or a related field
- 3 + years experience in supply chain or finance with increasing levels of responsibility, including administrative support. Experience in related activities in aerospace may be an acceptable substitute (e.g. Operations Mgmt, Program Mgmt, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with reporting tools as well, such as Tableau and Business Warehouse
- Data base experience is preferred
- Experience managing or leading projects and/or programs
- Experience in handling and safeguarding sensitive and confidential information.
