This recruitment will be used to fill one full-time Analyst Programmer, competency level 3, position for University Information & Technology - Administrative Technologies (UIT-TSA) at Oregon State University (OSU).
As a division within Oregon State University, University Information & Technology (UIT) shares and supports the University's mission by assisting the University to extend all programs, teachings, research and communication throughout the world. The services provided by UIT-TSA units, including Academic Technologies, Administrative Technologies, Infrastructure, Digital Experience, Digital Research, and Network Services, assist the University community by facilitating the transmission of knowledge and expertise to its members, thereby enhancing their ability to be productive, valued, and esteemed members of the University community, serving the State of Oregon. Services are provided to students, faculty, and staff for curricular, research, intellectual, and administrative activities and needs, as well as to the wider Oregon higher education and government community. There are approximately 175 faculty and classified employees in UIT, as well as 150 FTE student positions. UIT administers a total budget of $35+ million.
The Analyst Programmer reports to the Associate Director - Administrative Technologies and works as part of a team to analyze, design, modify, test, install and maintain business solutions, complex integrations, and complex reports to meet user and organizational information needs for University ERP systems. The incumbent will provide analysis, configuration, and development support for Workday and other administrative information systems utilizing formalized application development and project management methodologies and tools. This position works with subject matter experts in human capital management and other areas to support ongoing business operations. The incumbent collaborates with diverse project teams to design, configure, integrate, test, and deploy new enterprise systems and solutions

What We Require

- Experience configurating, developing, monitoring, and supporting cloud-native, low code/no code business solutions

What We Would Like You to Have
- 10 years of programming experience in multiple languages
- Prior experience with the Ellucian Banner system or other higher education ERP
- Experience with higher education business data or business process for human resources, finance, accounts receivable, payroll, financial aid, or student data
- Formal, large-scale project management experience
- Commitment to learning
Working Conditions / Work Schedule
- Master's degree in a field appropriate to the work assigned, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of experience in application configuration, development or support
- 8 years of experience designing, developing, and deploying system integrations
- Workday HCM/Finance and/or Workday Student experience.
