Description:
Expression Networks is seeking an Analyst to bridge technology and business objectives within the Electromagnetic Battle Management (EMBM) program. This role will support project planning, execution, and oversight, ensuring initiatives align with national defense strategies. Security Clearance: * US Citizenship is required.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or higher clearance.Location: * DMV preferred, any with the ability to attend periodic events and deployments at our client site (Annapolis and Northern Virginia) Responsibilities:
* Project Support: Collaborate with senior project team members to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables for EMBM initiatives.
* Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret operational and technical data related to electromagnetic spectrum management, providing actionable insights to project leads.
* Documentation: Prepare technical reports, presentations, and status updates for stakeholders, ensuring clear documentation of project milestones and progress.
* Resource Management: Support in the allocation and monitoring of resources, including personnel and equipment, to ensure effective execution of EMBM initiatives.
* Risk Management: Identify risks related to project operations and support program managers in creating mitigation plans.
* Stakeholder Communication: Assist in the communication between defense teams, governmental agencies, and military branches involved in the electromagnetic spectrum battle space.
* Technical Tool Support: Assist in the administration of project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and defense-specific tools to track project performance, monitor deliverables.
* Systems Analysis and Documentation: Assist in the development, analysis, and maintenance systems requirements and documentation, ensuring user needs are met.
* Task Management: Support the EMBM Program Manager in tracking personnel tasks to completion, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and development.
* Vendor Relationship Management: Assist program managers in managing contracts and relations with third party software vendors, requesting quotes and aiding in purchasing software licenses when needed. Ensure all licenses remain active and are renewed prior to expiration.Required Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related field.
* Experience: 1-2 years of experience in project analysis or a related role, preferably within defense, aerospace, management consulting, or electromagnetic spectrum management.
* Certifications: Within 18 months of employment earn a PMP
* Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
* Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft Office and other applications, including Visio
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to coordinate with military personnel and governmental stakeholders.
* Preferred Skills * Experience with data visualization
