The R&D S&P Product Chemistry group responds to the need for new chemical characterization capabilities required to keep up with the regulatory landscape. In recent effort the team explore the utility of electroanalytical characterization techniques as a means to minimize the risk of unwanted nitrosation reactions in our newly developed product formulations. This postdoctoral research fellow is to advance this experimental plan. The goal is to develop a new low-cost electrochemical platform for allowing detection of nitrosating agents in raw materials, complete the work instruction documentation and systematically measure nitrosating agents in raw materials used by our consumer healthcare products. This project will provide a better assurance to the avoidance of nitrosamine impurities, and provide depth to our Trusted Science value.
Key responsibilities
Ability to independently design and execute experiments using electrochemical instruments.
Understanding principles of basics analytical techniques.
Skilled in scientific data documentation, analysis and interpretation.
Ability to collaborate across-functional internal partners and external consultants and communicate effectively
Highly skilled in scientific literatures search to assist work progression and understanding.
