Analytical Chemist A - ATS

We have an open position for an Analytical Chemist A (III) in our ATS department located in the Irvine, CA facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform and/or assist with analytical testing of various raw materials and finished products.
• Perform method validation and method verification of test methods.
• Perform and document laboratory investigations, as necessary.
• Utilize analytical laboratory instrumentation with minimal supervision.
• Comply with cGMP regulations and follow all standard operating procedures.
• Peer review data generated by other technicians.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation within level of experience.
• Perform and/or assist with equipment calibration and qualification.
• Other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in a chemistry laboratory.
• 5+ years' experience with analytical instrumentation, such as HPLC, GC, CE, ICP, FTIR, TOC, MS and dissolution apparatus.
• GLP or cGMP (preferred) environment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and effectively perform concurrent tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
