Description:
SUMMARY: The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in utilizing technologies such as Snowflake, Azure, Oracle, AWS, Windows scripting, and ETL tools. Experience in migrating Oracle EBS and other ERP data to establish reporting capabilities are highly desired. You will be instrumental in supporting our clients' needs, leading business requirements gathering and creating (and executing on) a technical design to support those requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. or B.A. degree in business, MIS, or equivalent required
Six to 8 years of previous work experience in the business or IT field required
Proper U.S. work authorization
Experience with Project Managing IT project lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and training) preferred
SKILLS - BI FOCUS:
Minimum five years of working development experience with Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse solutions using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)/ETL experience, Azure, AWS, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies
Intermediate to advanced SQL skills required. Experience with designing and developing relational data models to support Business Intelligence reporting a plus.
Working knowledge in MS Office required (MS Excel "power user" a plus)
Working knowledge in Windows operating system required (Unix experience, a plus)
Collaborate with project teams and clients to understand data requirements, architecture, and objectives
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using technologies like ODI/ETL, Azure, AWS, Oracle, Python, SQL and other such tools
Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
Work closely with cross-functional business unit teams, including Executives, business users and IT teams, to deliver high-quality solutions
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to data engineering and analytics
