We are looking for an Android Engineer who will be responsible for developing the next generation of our mobile applications. The ideal candidate would have a passion for and knowledge of YouTube, and digital entertainment and the world of social media influencers. The candidate would also have a proven track record of mobile platform and application development experience on Android to support and fulfill the strategic objectives of a highly cross-functional organization. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building great mobile software, enjoys working with a team of talented developers, and who is eager to take on big challenges. Mobile is on fire. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, and implement the next generation of our mobile applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, develop, and deliver new exciting features on Android platforms to delight our consumers
Continuously explore, evaluate, and incorporate new technologies into our products and processes to improve development efficiency
Deliver quality software solution using Agile mobile development cycle
Analyze and resolve performance issues and other limitations
Qualifications
MUST-HAVES
At least 2-4 years of experience with native Android app development
At least one mobile app in Google Play - show us what you've done!
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Team player
NICE-TO-HAVES
Experience with in-app purchase or payment integration features
