Covenant Health in partnership with Alberta Health Services and the Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta, invites applications for Staff Anesthesiologists to be based primarily at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.
This position carries a maximum of 3.0 FTE. The allotment of FTE to the successful candidate(s) will be determined at the time of hire.
The successful applicants will be expected to apply for a Clinical Faculty Appointment in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and be willing to be involved in resident teaching and clinical research facilitation.
Qualifications
The successful applicants will have certification in Anesthesiology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. Additional training in regional, acute pain, and obstetrical will be considered an asset but are not essential.
