The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
The GRIR Manager will support the RTX AP US Hub. They will serve as a liaison between the company's departments and business partners. The manager will closely collaborate with Supply Chain and Accounting. The manager will also be responsible for supporting Government accounting compliance and audit requests, and other accounts payable processes and improvement initiatives. The GRIR Manager is responsible for ensuring the teams accurate and timely processing of goods receipts and invoice receipts, ensuring proper reconciliation of discrepancies and maintaining accurate inventory records. Performs research and analysis on complex and accounts payable projects. Leads the investigation and resolution of common accounting issues, including documentation and communication to management.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

What You Will do:
- Collaborating with Supply Chain to ensure timely and accurate goods receipts in purchase orders
- Collaborating with Suppliers to ensure timely and accurate invoice receipts in purchase orders
- Collaborating with other departments like accounting
- Align with Government Accounting requirements related to write offs
- Reconciling discrepancies between goods received and invoices
- Provide knowledge on hot to clear items from account
- Maintaining accurate records for all transactions related to the GR/IR account
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulations
- Identifying and resolving issues related to goods and invoice receipt processes
- Reporting monthly GR/IR balances for all businesses
- Support automation efforts of process transactions and reporting
- Manage a team of up to 5 employees
Qualifications You Must Have:
- This role typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field and at least 8 years of relevant experience gained in a Finance and/or Supply Chain setting or a Masters degree and 5 years of relevant experience
- At least 5 years of experience with GR/IR reconciliation, General Ledger and/or Government Accounting and compliance to include knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
- At least 5 years' experience and strong proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE or similar
- This role requires at least 5 years' experience and strong proficiency using Microsoft Excel, to include use of Macros, V-Lookup, Pivot Tables
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
- Strong experience with Goods Receipt / Invoice Receipt (GRIR) is highly preferred.
- Experience balancing multiple priorities and producing quality work within a given timeframe.
