Job Title: Application Analyst II
Job Specialty: Clinical Informatics
Job Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: Weekdays 8 am - 5 pm CST (5x8 Hr shifts)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related work experience with implementation and/or support of an electronic health record application is required.
License: Epic Proficiency
Certifications: Epic Accreditation or Certification is required
Must-Have:
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Willingness to learn and improve
- Highly motivated and able to operate under limited supervision
- Ability to prioritize and execute in high-pressure situations
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write)
- Knowledge of computer principles typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Job Description:
- Complete installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications on supported platforms.
- Proactively identify and resolve basic and more complex problems.
- Coordinate across teams for support, maintenance, and project-related activities.
- Utilize incident and change management processes within service level agreements.
- Prepare required system documentation to aid in troubleshooting, disaster recovery practices, core initiatives, and cross-training.
- Develop, maintain, and nurture relationships with key customers.
- Participate in the on-call process and route or escalate tickets appropriately.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in areas of responsibility.
- Utilize project management methodologies and tools as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
