Job Title: Application Analyst II
Job Specialty: -
Job Duration: 52 weeks
Shift: 1st Standard work schedule; weekdays 8 am - 5 pm CST, with the possibility of a few weekend shifts.
Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related work experience with the implementation and/or support of an electronic health record application is required.
License: Epic Proficiency, Accreditation, or Certification is required.
Certifications: None
Must-Have:
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Willingness to learn and improve
- Highly motivated and able to operate under limited supervision
- Ability to prioritize and execute in high-pressure situations
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Description:
- Completes installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications on supported platforms.
- Proactively identifies and resolves basic and more complex problems.
- Coordinates across teams for support, maintenance, and project-related activities.
- Utilizes incident and change management processes within service level agreements.
- Prepares required system documentation to aid in troubleshooting, disaster recovery practices, core initiatives, and cross-training.
- Develops, maintains, and nurtures relationships with key customers.
- Participates in the on-call process and routes or escalates tickets appropriately.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement in areas of responsibility.
- Utilizes Project Management Methodologies and tools as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
