What You'll Do
- Develop and Enhance Applications:
- Collaborate with onshore business teams to design, build, and enhance custom software applications that solve real business problems.
- Test, Document & Support:
- Perform unit testing, document design specifications, and create clear user manuals and procedures for implemented solutions.
- Production & Release Management:
- Triage and resolve production issues, while supporting release planning and deployment of enhancements and new applications.
Required Skills (1-3 years' experience):
- Ruby on Rails & Ruby programming
- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming (OOP)
- SQL database experience (Postgres, Oracle)
- Familiarity with Git/GitLab, CI/CD workflows
- Experience with RSpec testing framework
- Knowledge of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
- Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech/MCA)
- Java or additional backend language proficiency
- RESTful API development & microservice architecture
- Service-oriented design and message queues (Pub/Sub)
- Advanced DevOps practices and infrastructure familiarity
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- You thrive in collaborative environments (pair programming, peer reviews).
- You're a proactive communicator who ensures clarity and alignment.
