The Application Development Product Manager is responsible for driving the strategy, design, and execution of applications that align with the customer's objectives. The Application Development Product Manager is responsible for driving the strategy, design, and execution of applications that align with the customer's objectives. Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Vision:
  • Understand the customer's product vision and strategy for application development.
  • Work with customers to identify new opportunities for application features or new products.
  • Prioritize product features and improvements based on customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
  • Build and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with company goals and effectively communicates it to stakeholders.

Requirements Gathering and Product Planning:
  • Collaborate with customers stakeholders, including business leaders, and technical staff to gather and define product requirements.
  • Develop detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
  • Work with UX/UI teams to ensure seamless user experience and engaging user interface.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform product planning and decision-making.

Project Management and Execution:
  • Oversee the product development lifecycle, from concept and design to launch and post-launch optimization.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage the backlog in collaboration with development teams, balancing scope, resources, budget and timelines.
  • Track and manage project milestones, ensuring timely delivery of features and updates.
  • Act as a point of contact between development, QA, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution.

Stakeholder Communication and Alignment:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for product-related queries and decisions.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on product progress, milestones, and any roadblocks or changes in scope.
  • Work closely with customer-facing teams to ensure new product releases are well-communicated and supported.

Development life cycle:
  • Lead the analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment of products.
  • Identify and resolve product bugs and performance issues in collaboration with development teams.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, application development, or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to deliver successful products.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
    • Familiarity with application development tools (e.g., MS DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Figma etc).
    • Familiar with software development estimation techniques
    • Has the ability to architect, implement, test and deploy custom applications.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical C-level stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and driving product decisions.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with .NET core, ASP.NET, MVC framework, Angular, JavaScript SQL and C#.
  • Background in UX/UI principles and design thinking.
  • Familiar with Project management best practices

  • Successful launch of applications within time and budget constraints.
  • Achievement of user engagement and satisfaction targets.
  • Increased user adoption and reduced churn rates.
  • Effective management of product roadmap and backlog.
