Application Programmer V

Position will lead application support efforts around customer relationship analysis. Role will include providing production application support, driving design, development, testing and deployment for key customer relationship efforts around rewards, anti-money laundering and bankruptcy analysis. Will need to interface with multiple teams across the enterprise for successful completion of work efforts, including architecture, data management, business development, compliance and infrastructure. This role is required to provide technical direction and system architecture for application support changes and to serve as a fully seasoned technical resource. Required Skills Strong knowledge of relational database design. Working knowledge of any one of these domains - Teradata, Vertica , DB2 - preferred. Strong experience in ETL Tools - IIS Data stage is a plus. Extensive hands on experience in UNIX shell scripting, complex SQL queries and with performance tuning queries. Autosys scheduler Must be a team player in a fast paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines Typically requires 7-10 years of applicable experience. Quick learner. Must be able to learn new technical skills and apply to real life projects and production application support efforts
