Role: The application support lead will manage application support team members and monitor the production applications for errors, exceptions, failures and anomalies as well as monitor all tasks assigned to other team members through completion.

Role: The application support lead will manage application support team members and monitor the production applications for errors, exceptions, failures and anomalies as well as monitor all tasks assigned to other team members through completion.
What a day is like:
- Monitor and support production web applications running on AWS infrastructure.
- Report any application or infrastructure-related issues identified in production systems, including web applications, databases, file transmissions, and supporting infrastructure.
- Monitor daily scheduled jobs and file transmissions, and re-execute any failed jobs within the required SLA.
- Create a daily report of identified issues, indicating the appropriate criticality.
- Participate in weekly and daily triage meetings.
- Debug and reproduce any issues identified during production monitoring across various environments.
- Assess the impact of issues on end users, and create tickets with the appropriate priority level for the engineering team.
You're perfect for this role if you:
- Have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in the software industry
- Have experience with both Linux and Windows operating system
- Are proficient with Splunk Cloud and Splunk APM
- Have knowledge of commonly used Linux commands for searching and parsing file
- Are experienced in application smoke testing after deployments
- Have experience creating alerts, reports, and dashboards in Splunk and in databases
- Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to accurately collect, organize, and interpret large volumes of data
- Have experience monitoring and supporting production web applications on AWS\
- Can communicate technical insights effectively to executives and articulate the business impact
- Are proficient in at least one programming language such as C#, Java (J2EE), etc.
- Have in-depth knowledge of programming across diverse operating systems and platforms using various development tools
- Possess a solid understanding of software design and programming principles
- Demonstrate great attention to detail and strong time-management skills
- Have experience working with credit card and payment systems
- Have prior experience in Development, DevOps, or QA roles
