We are seeking a skilled Collibra Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Enterprise Metadata Management, Data Governance, and Business Analytics, with hands-on experience in Collibra installation and maintenance.
Your role
- Collibra Administrator for Installation and Maintenance
- Enterprise Metadata Management, MDM / Reference Data, Enterprise Data Governance, Data Quality, and Business Analytics
- Azure, SQL, PL/SQL
- Testing coordination with cross-functional teams, core server testing
- Vulnerability remediation and certificate management
- Server patching, upgrades, maintenance, and performance management
- Enabling and testing new platform features
- Maintaining metadata ingestion from Tableau and Databricks
- Ensuring application availability per SLA
- Maintaining the client's legacy "Right to Know" policy for data governance
- User license management
- L3 support, including TechOps and third-party coordination
- 5+ years of Collibra experience
- Strong knowledge of Azure, SQL, and PL/SQL
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Previous experience in a managed services role or IT support (typically 5+ years)
- 5+ years of Collibra experience, including building proof of concepts, consulting clients, implementing the tool, and deploying data management solutions
- Provide technical support for business-critical software applications
- Monitor application performance, resolve technical issues, and perform root cause analysis
- Serve as the primary point of contact for application-related inquiries
- Participate in testing new or updated applications
- Assist with the release and deployment of new software versions or updates
- Ensure smooth transitions during application changes, including user training and documentation
- Collect and analyze data from applications to generate reports
- Monitor application usage and performance metrics
- Provide recommendations for improving workflows or streamlining processes
- Work with project managers and customers to ensure applications meet evolving business requirements
- Update application and architecture documentation as needed
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users
- Customer-oriented, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
- Knowledge of application performance monitoring tools
- Experience with Azure Cloud and Databricks
- Familiarity with databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.) and querying for data analysis
- Manage server patching, upgrades, and performance
- Enable and test new platform features
- Maintain metadata ingestion from Tableau and Databricks
- Ensure application availability per SLA
- Provide L3 support and coordinate with third-party vendors
