FLSA-EXEMPT
Special Requirements
Successful completion of a comprehensive background investigation is required and must be completed before the end of the one year probationary period. The comprehensive background investigation includes a review of employment history, criminal conviction record, use of intoxicants and/or other controlled substances. In these cases, incumbents may be asked to work at secure locations and access highly confidential materials and information, in addition to working on systems that have city-wide impacts.
Effective January 1, 2013, new members to CalPERS or an agency with CALPERS' reciprocity or who have more than a six month break in service between employment in a CalPERS (or reciprocal) agency will be subject to the provisions of the Public Employees' Pension Reform Act of 2013 (PEPRA) and will receive the 2% @ 62 benefit formula.
Employees who are current members of CalPERS or an agency with CalPERS' reciprocity, or who have less than a six month break in service between employment in a CalPERS (or reciprocal) agency and employment with the City will be enrolled in the 2.5% @ 55 benefit formula.
All employees are required to pay the full employee contribution to CalPERS.

- Designs and develops Power Apps to support business processes and automation.
- Develops custom Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps with responsive interfaces and dynamic data interactions.
- Implements Power Automate workflows to streamline processes, automate approvals, and manage notifications.
- Maintains and optimizes Power BI dashboards, Fabric reporting, and SSRS reports for data visualization and decision-making.
- Ensures data integrity and security.
- Creates test environments, executes testing, manages ALM, implements error handling and monitoring strategies, supports production rollouts, user training, and ongoing enhancements.
- Stays current with Power Platform updates and emerging technologies such as AI Builder and Copilot Agents.
- Stays abreast of industry trends; maintains up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional associations.

- Proficiency in relational databases, cloud-based data management, and API integration, with tools such as Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), including managed/unmanaged solutions, environment variables, and governance best practices for low-code platforms.
- Experience with ERP system integration, leveraging Power Automate and custom connectors to streamline workflows and automate business processes.
