Two opportunities available for APRNs in our DYS Program.
One position is (2) 12 hour shifts and (2) 8 hour shifts M-F in Framingham and Dorchester. On-call requirement is 6-8x/year for 1 week at a time.
One position will (4) 10 hour shifts M-F in a location to be determined. On-call requirement is 6-8x/year for 1 week at a time. Applicants will be considered for both opportunities.
These Nurse Practitioners will be responsible for:
Providing care to adolescent males and females in an NP-led practice, located within DYS facilities, which are part of Boston Children's Hospital Adolescent Division.
Evaluating, diagnosing, treating and educating clients with primary care and acute care needs.
Providing case management services in conjunction with the care team, which includes Health Services providers and DYS mental health clinicians, DYS staff and administration and DYS caseworkers.
To qualify, you must have:
Master's degree in Nursing- with FNP or PNP.
MA APRN license.
Prefer 5-6 years total combined nursing experience (RN and APRN). Would consider new grad APRN.
Prefer outpatient and triage experience. Psych experience would be ideal but not required.
