Lead the development and execution of a strategic plan to prepare students for future careers through pathway courses, manage school operations, including safety, academic performance, budget, human resources, and professional development, and cultivate strong relationships with staff, parents, and the community. Provide strategic input on the organization's long and short-term plans, translating plans into objectives for the assigned function and aligning assigned teams towards common goals.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school to ensure smooth functioning and a high-quality educational environment.
- Serve as the instructional and strategic leader by planning staff development and facilitating professional growth opportunities.
- Lead and monitor the implementation of a rigorous and relevant curriculum, demonstrating commitment to academic excellence.
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and the wider community to foster strong relationships.
- Establish and maintain a positive school culture that supports student learning and staff professional growth.
- Manage school resources responsibly, including financial management, ensuring fiscal accountability in line with broader strategic plans.
- Counsel students by providing guidance to support their academic success and personal development needs.
- Implement policies and procedures that maintain compliance with educational standards and regulations while translating strategic objectives into functional goals.
- Analyze data to inform decisions and improve practices.
- Support the professional growth of staff by providing direction, support, and constructive feedback.
- Provide input into overall financial plans, maintaining fiscal accountability.
- Provide guidance to the teams, including through times of risk and uncertainty, aligning teams towards common goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Education Administration, or closely related area from a Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university required.
- Minimum three (3) years of administrative leadership experience required.
- Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission approved certificate in educational leadership at level L-5, NL-5, PL-6, or above required. If a level L-5, NL-5, PL-6, or above certificate is not held, the individual must be eligible for the NPL certificate in educational leadership.
