What youll do:
As an Area Manager, you will lead all business initiatives in our Yakima and Vancouver locations. You will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical business leadership in the development and execution of the business including sales and operations strategy.
This position is headquartered in Yakima or Vancouver / Portland.
- Develop, lead, and implement the regions P&L programs, strategic & tactical activities for multiple locations
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with the sellers in the region to include creation of meaningful seller plans and funnel management
- Manage and grow existing and new customer opportunities using company business processes and cadence.
- Manage all aspects of the region to meet customer needs and company profitability goals in headcount, inventory, margin, and net income
- Hire, train, & develop strong performing team players.
- Prepare management reports and presentations asrequired
- Leadership by example. Create a positive, dynamic, and fun work environment
Qualifications
An Area Manager brings credibility through performance, professional qualifications, and leadership skills as well as leading by example.
- 2+ yrs operations, forecasting and/or P&Lexperience
- 1+ yr B2B industrial salesexperience.
- 2+ yrs management / leadershipexperienceto build and retain highly motivated performance teams
- High school diplomarequired. Bachelors degreepreferred
- Written and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills with all levels of internal and external organizations
- Mechanical aptitude. Hydraulic and/or fluid power knowledge a plus
- Systems proficiency in ERP and computer related systems
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record (MVR)
- Ability to travel 50% of the time as needed

In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated pay range for this position in Vancouver or Yakima WA is$80,000 -$110,000/year depending onexperience, plus an annual bonus opportunity. Bonus amounts are tied to location and company performance and historically have generally been between$0 $20,000 per year, though no specific amount is guaranteed.
