As an Elara Caring Area Vice President Operations, you'll contribute to our success in the following ways:
  • Provides direction, leadership and support to Hospice leaders, Administrators and Clinical managers to support the mission, budget, and quality expectations of the organization.
  • Interacts with employees, peers, the Administrative Clinical department, Corporate, and Executive staff in a manner conducive to continued positive relationships.
  • Creates and maintains an innovative and cooperative staff relationship and environment.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of the agency's organizational strategic planning activities and budget.
  • Reports on analysis of findings for progress of strategic plans and other strategic dashboards.
  • Provides oversight for the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, procedures, clinical protocols, forms, quality improvement monitors, service programs, and other components of program infrastructure every year and as needed.
  • Directs all aspects of organization in accordance with the mission and values of agency, legal and regulatory requirements, payer and accreditation standards, customer expectations and agency policy.
  • Provides oversight and direction to the ancillary department(s) assigned department, to the direct reports responsible for auditing, including compliance with documentation content.


What is Required?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Organizational Development or related field is required.
  • 5+ years Organizational development experience required
  • 5+ years of Health Care (hospice preferred) experience required
  • 2+ years supervisory experience required
  • Working knowledge of regulations and reimbursement in hospice
  • Master's Degree in Business, Leadership, Organizational Development or related field is preferred.
  • Current RN License is Preferred
