Armed Security Guard with Security Clearance

Summary The Armed Security Guard personnel will be responsible for providing security services at a U.S. Government location. **This position is offering a $3,000 sign on bonus after successful completion of 90 calendar days with no write ups!** Responsibilities * Will carry out general and special orders for post assigned; conduct roving patrols to prevent installation breaches and other OPSEC or security-related tasks. * Will communicate via radio, telephone, and orally according to orders. * Required to interact with public and government personnel. * Will provide access control and conduct walking armed security functions. * Will be responsible for the cleanliness of uniform and equipment assigned. * Will follow applicable standard operating procedures and government regulations pertaining to the security of weapons, buildings, personnel, government property, and equipment. * Will conduct personnel, building, & facility checks and package & parcel inspection. * Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications * Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. * Speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent verbal and written reports in English. * Have an approved Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration. * Active Secret clearance. * Shall not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 U.S.C. 922 * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Minimum of one year experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization. * Successfully be able to meet PAT physical agility standards as set forth by US Army. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment. * Knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office products.
