Position Overview: ANSER is actively seeking an Arms Control Treaty Analyst to work in support of the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Threat Reduction and Arms Control (ODASD(TRAC)). In this role you will provide strategic and implementation guidance for implementation of and compliance with arms control treaties and agreements to the Department of Defense. Day to Day Responsibilities: * Monitor implementation of and oversee compliance of all DoD activities related to arms control and related political agreements. * Provide written recommendations representing Treaty Manager positions on all aspects of policy relating to applicable treaties and agreements and brief recommendations to action officers and senior leaders. * Engage stakeholders across the Department of Defense, Interagency and international organizations to develop treaty-related guidance and address issues. * Conduct research; draft responses to requests for information; review policy documents; develop papers, briefings, talking points, recommendations, and other deliverables; and brief findings to AF senior leaders as needed. * Provide technical support for DoD Arms Control Implementation Working Groups, Compliance Review Groups, and other treaty management coordination activities. Required Qualifications: * Active SECRET clearance. * 10+ years of relevant work experience. * Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in a discipline relevant to the position. * Ability to travel locally ( * Experience in disciplines related to treaty management tasks, including assessments and analyses that determine whether project objectives are being met and activities are compliant with guidance and requirements. * Interpersonal skills that promote working closely with contractor teammates, government leads, and senior government officials. Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of the Department of Defense and/or Department of State offices involved in treaty implementation and compliance. * Knowledge of national security strategies and policies and deterrence theories. * Research, analysis, and writing skills; experience authoring reports, assessments, responses to requests for information, talking points, briefings, and other products. * Experience interacting with and briefing SES and Flag Officer level leaders. * Experience working with action officers across DoD and/or the Interagency. * Experience planning meetings, conferences, and/or exercises.
