The role you'll contribute:
The Arrhythmia Manager (AM) will assume responsibility for ensuring timely, high quality care throughout the Cardiac Device Management department within Arrhythmia Services at Cardiology locations. Tracks performance levels and revises procedures to optimize patient care and work flow at Cardiology locations. Manages Arrhythmia Services, Cardiac Management Device Technicians (CMDT) and Arrhythmia Clinic Technicians (ACT) to include evaluating, coaching, engaging and administering progressive discipline when necessary to the direct reports under his/her immediate supervision.

Serve as primary point of contact for all Cardiology providers on an on-call basis.
Responsible for overseeing the function of the Cardiac Device Management department at Cardiology Practices.
Responsible for the management of staff schedules and coverage obligations at Cardiology locations.
Responsible for hiring, training and evaluations of all staff in both departments. Participates in staff orientation, education, and competency up-keeping activities.
Attends, leads, facilitates staff and other meetings as determined by administrator
Responsible for time management of department

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years healthcare management experience or
- Associate's Degree and 4+ years healthcare management experience
- 5+ years experience analyzing and reprogramming cardiac devices Pacemakers, ICD, and ILR on-the-job training or completion of an approved CDMT/CVT educational program. OR
- 5+ years experience managing remote device transmissions to include extensive knowledge of global billing guidelines.
- 5+ years experience clinical managerial experience in Electrophysiology.
- ACLS
- CDDS certification IBHRE (International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners) National certification
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of Paceart Software
- Completion of a Registered CMDT/CVT program
- RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist
- CVT - Cardiovascular Tech
- CCI certification
