Job Description: Sr Art Director

Summary:
good communicator and talented, experienced lead designer who can create hands-on work with minimal oversight, support CD on larger, strategic initiatives and act as an ACD reviewer of some external agency work-design acumen and good judgment is a must. After a ramping up period, someone who will quickly become a vocal champion of our Brand design system. Responsibilities:
Design or review creative for a range of print and digital channels, including email, web, direct mail, display, and social media.
Be a strong voice and advocate for Brand standards with internal and external agency partners.
Verbal communication of design feedback when in a reviewer role of others' work.
Get stuff done. On time. Every time.
Help explore and develop business brand identity creative, guide books and sell-in decks.
Manage multiple deadlines on numerous projects happening at the same time.
Deliver error-free work, using best practices with keen attention to detail.
Listen to and incorporate feedback like a champ.
Brainstorm big concepts one day and tackle detail-oriented projects the next.
Collaborate with a lot of smart people.
Work with team-copywriters, creative directors, brand and marketing strategists.
Work with partners-internal marketing and line-of-business.
Create marketing that cuts through the noise.
Use strategy to inform your creative decisions.
Understand the importance of integrated thinking across channels, products and audiences, while staying true to the brand.
Learn from consumer insights and let them influence work.
Be willing to push the process and mindsets of others to create great customer experiences and strengthen the brand.
Determine when to use existing solutions or start from scratch.
Understand the goals of a project, take direction well, and ask questions when clarity is needed.
Present work in a compelling way to create support across different audiences.

Basic Qualifications:
At least 5 years of design experience in a professional setting
At least 5 years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Aptitude for learning new platforms and software
Portfolio of your creative work

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or military experience
Experience with Google software and Figma
Familiarity with User Testing Best Practices
Experience in the financial services industry
Creative agency experience is preferred
Animation experience is a nice-to-have
