Classified IT Operations Associate Manager responsible for direct management and supervision of Classified System Engineering - IT Professionals
Coordinate and manage all IT server, storage, desktop and network needs within closed areas
Identifying staffing resources working with a multifunctional diverse team of engineers, approximately 4-5 personnel
Coordinate with other Operations Leaders for workloads, scheduling, and escalating IT tasks
Oversee vulnerability management and break-fix/service requests
Responsible for performance management, promotions, talent planning, training, development activities, and energizing for direct staff
Organize and conduct service status reviews, team meetings and activities according to established business practices
Asset management, maintain knowledge and location of classified hardware assets responsible for
ServiceCentral / Confluence / JIRA and Kanban workflow experience and knowledge
Incident and demand management reporting and monitoring activities and other duties as defined
Participate in government and customer inspections and audit activities

Basic Qualifications
Active DOD Secret Clearance
Direct management and supervision of System Engineering - IT professionals or other technical roles
Demonstrated experience managing IT server, storage, desktop and network needs within closed areas
Coordination with other managers for workloads, scheduling, priorities and escalations
Self-starter with the ability to spot potential for process improvement
Capable of building effective relationships with teams, subject matter experts and program leadership
Experience conducting performance reviews, mentorship and training
Experience with managing Risk Management Framework (RMF) in a Special Access Program environment, familiar with JSIG/DoD Manual 5220.22-M requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to effectively interface with internal and external customers and senior leadership/executives.
Bachelor's degree or above in Science or Information Technology from an accredited college/university
CompTIA Security+ CE or other DoD 8140/8570 IAT II/III certification
Desired skills
Skilled to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical staff and stakeholders, as well as being able to understand and respond to their questions and concerns. Proficient to identify potential issues with projects and come up with solutions to address them.
Demonstrated experience with Full-Spectrum Leadership imperatives, managing complex IT projects including cloud service provider solution integration activities. Competent to resolve conflicts quickly and efficiently to keep projects on track.
Adept to establish and maintain effective reporting and communication mechanisms and provide regular and accurate information and feedback to the stakeholders and sponsors.
First-hand experience implementing technical security requirements on various secure operating systems (Linux, Windows, and Networking equipment) based on approved DISA STIGs and SRGs

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
