Job Description

We are currently searching for anAsset Management Consultantin ourEdmontonoffice.

The successful candidate will work with client organizations to build their asset management capability, develop asset management strategies and plans, develop models and tools, and identify process improvements in any aspect of asset management. You are an excellent communicator with strong organizational skills, leadership potential and you thrive in dynamic work environments. You will provide technical expertise and project management on a variety of asset management projects, for public and private sector clients. Duties will also include identifying emerging markets and industry trends to enable Associated Engineering to play an active role in the asset management marketplace.

Job Requirements

What you will bring:

A diploma or undergraduate degree in a planning, technical or business management discipline from an accredited post-secondary institution.

10+ years of experience in asset management techniques, such as capital or maintenance planning, reliability engineering, strategy development or business process improvement.

Experience with enterprise asset management software, data analysis/BIG data.

Experience in project management related to infrastructure asset management.

Experience working with diverse teams, including engineers, planners, operations and maintenance staff, and managers.

Marketing ability and possession of market intelligence is an asset.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Aptitude to apply asset management theory to any type of infrastructure such as water, wastewater, transportation, transit, and facilities.

Awareness of standards for asset management practices, including IIMM, ISO 55000, AMBC or provincial frameworks and toolkits.

Excellent written and spoken English and presentation skills.

Proactive communications with a proven ability to successfully problem-solve.

Understanding of software applications in Asset Management.

Engagement and facilitation experience.

Change Management skills.

Experience with operational improvement.

Education

Post-Secondary Diploma
