Job Summary
Client Service Engineering is part of Goldman Sachs Asset Management; we are responsible for providing the technology that powers our award-winning client service organization. We operate as a full-stack team, and engineers contribute code in multiple languages on a variety of applications.
You will be part of our Client Service Desktop team, which specializes in providing a one stop shop UI experience for our client servicing functions. You will work on an internal UI application with around 500 monthly users. Our stack covers React, Kubernetes, Next, NodeJS on a micro frontend architecture. We also own a Java Spring application so an interest in full-stack development is important.

Basic qualifications
- Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, or related numerical/engineering field.
- 1+ years professional experience in a Software Engineering role.
- Strong, self-motivated individual with analytical mindset who can multi-task to solve interesting and difficult technical problems.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn; open to contributing across the stack.
- Enjoy working with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred qualifications
- Interest in React and Java development; experience in Object Oriented analysis, design and testing best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Interest in Micro-services, micro-frontends, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes and container-based deployment, and automated regression testing.
