Position Summary

The Assistant Director for Administrative Programs (AD-AP) has primary responsibility for all activities relating to the renewals, continuations, site visit rehearsals and site visits for the NCI Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG), implementation of projects funded by the CCSG, coordination of leadership committees, coordination and supervision of pilot projects and limited submission applications, planning and execution of BCC special retreats, lectureships and other meetings/events and coordination and communication with the larger Cancer Center community. The AD-AP is responsible for a broad spectrum of complex analytical duties that lead to new and/or not yet tested recommendations and is expected to develop conceptual framework for the implementation of unique projects/programs. The AD-AP participates in strategic planning for the BCC and is responsible for many high-profile projects often requiring adherence to tight deadlines. This position is critical to the overall strategic mission of the BCC.
