Summary of Position:
The Assistant Director of Human Resources for Compensation, Employee Relations and Benefits manages all employee and labor relations for professional, project, support and administrative employees. The position is responsible for providing Human Resources leadership, consultation, communication and counseling to supervisors and staff as well as managing compensation and payroll for the organization. This position coordinates all fringe benefits programs for each employee group. This position assists the Director of Human Resources with other related issues as assigned.

1 Recruiting Manager
1 Benefits and HRIS Analyst
1 Benefits specialist
3 Confidential Secretaries
Dimensions and Organizational Relationships of Position:
This is a central office position reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources. The Assistant Director of Human Resources for Compensation, Employee Relations and Benefits is a member of the human resources administrative team, focusing expertise on compensation, labor relations issues and benefits. The administrator must be able to act with minimal direction and make decisions within the parameters of collective bargaining agreements, Board policies, organizational procedures and PA school code. This position is responsible for supervision and evaluation of staff. In the absence of the Director of Human Resources, the incumbent will act as the Director of Human Resources.

- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field required
- Masters degree preferred
- Five (5) to seven (7) years progressive human resources experience required
- Minimum three (3) years supervisory or school administration experience required
- SPHR and/or SHRM, SCP preferred
