We are currently recruiting for a hospitality-focused Assistant Director of Health Services to join our team. This position is responsible for main clinical oversight for our Memory Care neighborhoods, and is part of our community's leadership team. This role supervises the work of our Nurses and Caregivers to ensure that our residents receive high-quality care.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities:
  • Assist in supervising direct nursing care in the community.
  • Supervise Memory Care nursing and caregiving personnel on all shifts. Participate in staffing, scheduling, counseling, orientation, on-call, and evaluation of Memory Care nursing and caregiving staff.
  • Make routine rounds to assure proper care and a safe, clean resident environment.
  • Assure accuracy and completeness of medical records, including but not limited to care plans and assessments.
  • Notify physician and resident's family of changes in resident's condition. Confer with residents and their families on resident care plans.
  • Respond to emergency calls as necessary.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
  • Current valid Illinois nursing license (LPN or RN) in good standing with the State of Illinois.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience working in senior care with a good understanding of applicable regulations.
  • Memory Care experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience supervising direct reports is required.
  • Passion for helping people in a compassionate and empathetic way.
  • Strong communication skills required.

Pay Range: $90,000/yr to $95,000/yr, depending on experience.

Work Schedule: Core schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00a - 4:30p. Flexibility is required due to the nature of this role; including occasional off-hour shifts to support second and third shift direct reports, occasional weekend manager-on-duty rotation, and biweekly clinical on-call availability.
