Overview:

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D) with experience in substance use and mental health to serve as the Assistant Director for our substance use and our integrated co-occurring mental health and substance use treatment programs across our OMH, and dually licensed OASAS and OMH CCBHC clinics.

This full-time role has a salary range of $80,000 to $82,000 for an LCSW or $90,000 for a licensed Ph.D. or Psy.D. level psychologist. Applicants who are bilingual (Spanish-English) are eligible for an additional $5,000. Location is negotiable and can be at our Hartsdale, Yonkers, or Mt Vernon Clinics.

Responsibilities:

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Responding to and tracking inquiries about these services from prospective clients and their families as well as hospitals and other services providers.
  • Facilitating clients getting connected with our admitting team, ensuring client enrollment and disenrollment for their respective programs.
  • Providing clinical supervision to 3-5 staff.
  • Assuring program capacity and responsiveness to the community.
  • Providing individual, family, and group therapy to clients and their loved ones.
  • Other responsibilities may include program promotion; participating in community events; hiring, training and supervising staff, both clinically and administratively; facilitating team and staff meetings when the program director is unavailable; ensuring that appropriate and necessary training opportunities are available to staff; and ensuring that all program paperwork/documentation meets requirements.


Requirements:

We are seeking who possess the following:
  • LCSW or Ph.D. from an accredited university/college.
  • At least three years clinical experience working with clients and their families around substance use and mental health concerns.
  • Preferred experience includes at least two years administrative and/or supervisory experience and experience with public speaking.
  • CASAC licensure preferred in addition to LCSW or Clinical Psychologist licensure.
