Description:

Responsible for the administrative oversight of assigned Department of Human Services programs including staff supervision and development, quality assurance functions, and program administration.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

BA/BS required (MSW/related MA preferred) or equivalent work experience plus 4 years administrative/supervisory experience with social service agency(ies) required. Valid driver's license and car required.

JOB TASKS / ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Fulfill all Job Functions of the AED Position
  • Fulfill AED Expectations Duties
  • Ensure all Functions below level of AED are fulfilled
  • Responsible for ensuring all contractual obligations including: contract outcomes, reports, contract renewals and modifications, and contract fiscal analysis, and licensing inspections/program audits.
  • Responsible for achieving targeted level of service and securing opportunities for program development and growth.
  • Responsible for effectively utilizing staff resources including actively participating in the hiring/firing process, implementing retention strategies, ensuring the effective utilization of staffing resources, and effectively delegating responsibilities.
  • Responsible for ensuring effective staff training.
  • Responsible for the monitoring of program budgets to include monitoring expenses, submitting spending plans and budget analysis, and ensuring compliance with agency fiscal policies.
  • Responsible for program development including developing, implementing, and achieving program goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for the oversight of the health and safety of members including conducting program inspections and reviewing records.
  • Responsible for the oversight of member finances including accurate record keeping and ensuring the appropriate use and maintenance of entitlements.
  • Responsible for ensuring appropriate staff member interactions including coordinating the Unusual Incident Process and participating in the IDT process as required.
  • Responsible to ensure that all members are actively engaged in meaningful employment activity and are actively engaged in their communities.
  • Responsible to utilize the PSR as an effective tool to improve program outcomes.
  • Responsible to provide effective supervision to all employees through the use of supervision meetings, staff meetings, and training.
  • Cooperate with Agency, legal authorities and Department of Human Services or any part or successor thereof in any inspection or investigation.
  • Ensures compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State, Federal, and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/pandemic.
  • All Other Duties as assigned.

  • SHIFT: Mon - Fri, various shifts, evenings and weekends, minimum 8 hrs at programs after 3pm weekly.
