Assistant Professor/Clinical
Department of Neurosurgery
The Department of Neurosurgery, Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio, is seeking a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor/Clinical with a demonstrated interest in developing a productive academic neurosurgery practice.
The applicants must be fellowship-trained Neuro-intensivists to provide neurological critical care in a new Neuro-intensive care unit.
Opportunity Details
Eligible candidates must be American Board Certified or American Board Eligible. The candidate will be committed to working within an active academic department with clinical, teaching, and research responsibilities and will obtain and maintain a Texas Medical License. The Department of Neurosurgery is a multidisciplinary department with a commitment to translational, basic science, and outcomes research. Our Mission is to foster the education, training, and development of our faculty members, to generate new knowledge through innovative research and clinical trials that impact health care and improve lives, and to provide compassionate, competent neurosurgical care to our community. Salary and academic appointments will be commensurate with qualifications and rank.
