- Assist the Superintendent in managing night shift operations and ensuring site safety.
- Oversee union tradespeople, equipment, and subcontractors on-site during night shifts.
- Act as the direct point of contact between the client, public, and project personnel.
- Ensure critical project information is effectively communicated to day shift crews.
- Adhere to labor and production schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications to maintain quality and compliance.
- Prepare and submit one-week and three-week look-ahead schedules.
- Submit all required job paperwork weekly.
- Complete daily reports with detailed records of employee and equipment hours, completed work, and site activities.
- Ensure work meets QA/QC specifications and is completed to the highest standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working on highway and bridge projects valued at $5M - $100M.
- A four-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, including accelerated bridge construction.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to oversee night operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with teams, clients, and the public.
- Traffic, Bridge and DOT experience required.
- Project history submission required with resume.
