The Assistant Superintendent of Instruction and Achievement is a key leadership role responsible for driving educational excellence within the district. This position entails:
- Providing strategic oversight and setting a clear vision for instructional achievement aligning with the district's strategic direction.
- Overseeing key district functions including curriculum development, instructional strategies, assessment practices, and school-based leadership, to ensure high standards of academic performance and growth.
- Cultivating an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse student needs, promotes equity, and fosters success for all learners.
- Engaging with families, community partners and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and support for student success.
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, with Program, Principal, or Superintendent certification or credentials.
- 3-5 years of successful experience as a principal and/or central office administrator.
- Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data effectively and use it to make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in researching, designing, and implementing instructional practices, curriculum development, and professional development.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including staff, families, and community partners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to foster relationships, build trust, and promote collaboration.
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment for all students.
- Proven experience supervising and leading principals and/or central office administrators.
