Primary Duties
In this role, you will:
- Provide excellent customer service both in person, verbally, and in writing, to responding to requests received from the public on a wide variety of transportation issues including parking, sight distance, signage, pavement condition, etc.
- Review a wide variety of private development projects ranging including both residential and commercial development. Reviews will include both civil plans and environmental analyses, in coordination with planning and development engineering staff.
- Support the street preservation programs including involvement in street selection, treatment selection, cost estimating, data review and management, and preparing program overviews and supporting documentation.

Minimum Qualifications
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR...
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- three (3) years of successful civil engineering experience required
- a combination of education, training and experience that would indicate ability to complete the work responsibilities listed above.
- Possess and retain a valid Washington State Driver's License during tenure of employment, without impending loss at time of appointment.
- An Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
- Successful transportation engineering experience in amunicipal engineering setting.
- Experience with Synchro, and other HCM-based traffic modeling software.
- GIS Analysis experience.
