Position Summary
The Division of Pediatric Nephrology in the Department of Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking to add a clinical track faculty physician to provide patient care in the inpatient, outpatient, and pediatric kidney transplant clinical settings while also serving as a clinician educator. As a clinical track faculty member with the Indiana University School of Medicine, there are expectations of: teaching on service, participation in departmental educational endeavors, and encouragement to participate in scholarly pursuits. Nationally ranked among the top 15 pediatric nephrology programs by U.S. News & World Report, our nephrology specialists at Riley Children's Health provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for children with kidney disease or kidney failure. Our pediatric nephrologists are leaders in using novel technologies and research breakthroughs to launch new clinical programs that lead to better treatments for children impacted by kidney disease.
The Department of Pediatrics at IUSM/Riley Hospital for Children is a 398-member faculty that is consistently within the top 10 pediatric departments in NIH funded research in the United States and has 19 Fellowship programs. There is a new large pediatric clinical research center, a new pediatric outpatient center dedicated to general pediatrics and neurodevelopment related divisions in pediatrics, genetics, and psychiatry. There are also State-of-the-art laboratories in a dedicated pediatric research building, a clinical research center, a well-functioning biobank, six T32 fellow training grants and one K12s that support research in the Department. Our nationally recognized Division of Children's Health Research is available for collaboration and as a resource for combined fellowships with the pediatric hospitalist program. The Department also has research relationships with the Regenstrief Institute in Health Informatics. Pediatric Radiology and Pediatric Neuroradiology are strong research partners.

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate or terminal degree required. Completion of pediatric residency and pediatric nephrology fellowship. Must be Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics & Pediatric Pulmonology. New graduates and experienced providers are encouraged to apply.
