The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria(UICOMP) seeks a physician for position at the level of Professor, AssociateProfessor or Assistant Professor to enhance an important clinical program.
Pediatric Psychiatrist position requires candidates who are BC in Psychiatry and have completed 4years in residency and 2 years in fellowship training in Pediatric Psychiatry.Candidates with scholarly and research interests are highly desirable, alongwith experience in teaching medical students and residents.

The Department of Pediatrics, University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria is seeking psychiatrist who has completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor or Professor.

In collaboration with the OSF HealthCare Children's Hospital ofIllinois, the Department has 19 divisions and over 145 faculty membersproviding general pediatrics and subspecialty services to the pediatricpopulation in Central Illinois.

The current research infrastructure within the Departmentincludes office of research, a dedicated biostatistician and internal researchfunding mechanism to support our faculty. The primary teaching hospital of UICOMP is Children's Hospital ofIllinois, a tertiary care facility serving a 37-county region with a populationbase of over two million. Children's Hospital of Illinois providescomprehensive services to children, including Level IV NICU and a state-designatedPediatric Critical Care Center. Children's Hospital of Illinois is a majormedical facility with 136 beds and a 32-bed critical care unit and the onlyLevel 1 trauma center in Illinois outside of Chicago. There are existing resources through UICOMPand Children's Hospital of Illinois for seeding research funding, quality andoutcomes focused academic work and innovation in health education.
