Description
The Associate Account Manager is an entry-level outside sales role designed to onboard, train, and develop young sales professionals. The Associate Account Manager will focus on our Limited and Core customer segments and prospects that align with our strategic markets.
This role will drive new and sustainable profitable sales within the Limited and Core customer segments through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions. In addition, using a proactive data analysis model, the Associate Account Manager identifies and promotes product & service offerings that align with a customer's purchase profile. They achieve this by upselling and product & service introduction efforts, intending to win and maintain their trust, confidence, and long-term business.

Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing Team to identify and qualify leads
- Maintain ongoing communication with, discover key product and service opportunities within, and gain knowledge of key accounts.
- Using SAP Business One, Power BI, and other business tools, conduct an analysis of targeted Limited and Core accounts to determine what product and service offerings to feature. Determine selling tactics that will be used to engage targeted accounts.
- Drive revenue growth from our Limited and Core accounts and prospective customers that align with our strategic initiatives.
- Prospect for new sales opportunities via outbound calling, emailing campaigns, and customer visits.
- Increase Gross Margin Dollars by a minimum of 10% per invoice for Limited and Core accounts year over year
- Develop and maintain territory and account plans aligned with the company's Strategic Plan
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitive information.
- Demonstrate passion, active listening, and empathy in all interactions.
Education, Experience, Skills, and Competencies
Education and Work Experience:
- Two-year degree or certification in a related program required
- Four-year degree or certification in a related program preferred
- 2+ years Customer service or Sales experience required
- Technical industry experience preferred

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- This role will require frequent travel to customer sites to facilitate face-to-face meetings and regular on-site presence at our Fremont office.

- Continually required to read and view a computer screen
