Description
The County of Yolo is recruiting to fill one (1) limited term, full-time position in the class of Associate Administrative Services Analyst (Entry Level) at the Yolo County Sheriff's Office. This is a limited-term work assignment that is scheduled to expire after two years from the date of hire. This position may be converted to a regular, full-time position in the same or similar class in the future.
THE POSITION
CalAIM (California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal) is a state initiative focusing on improving health outcomes, particularly for those involved in the justice system, by integrating Medi-Cal with other social services and ensuring a smoother transition back to the community after incarceration. The Associate Administrative Service Analyst will play a vital role in supporting the administrative and operational functions related to Cal-AIM initiatives. This position involves coordinating the design, implementation, and maintenance of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, facilitating PATH JI Yolo County Governance meetings, and tracking performance metrics for mandated reporting.
The ideal candidate for the Associate Administrative Services Analyst position is an organized, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and experience supporting administrative functions. Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, accounting, finance, organizational development, social work, education, human resources, or a closely related field; AND
Experience: One (1) year of general administrative support experience in a professional or technical capacity.
Substitution: Additional progressively responsible experience in any of the functional areas noted above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two years. Experience in the classifications of Staff Services Analyst I/II, Departmental Analyst, Program and Administrative Planner, and Employment Training Analyst in Yolo County may be substituted for the above required education on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum four (4) years.

- Compiles and analyzes routine data; makes basic recommendations on the formulation of policy, procedures, staffing and organizational changes.

- Coordinates, monitors and directs the acquisition, allocation and use of equipment, supplies, telecommunication systems, office and facility space, records storage and retrieval systems and forms; conducts research and develops procedures to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness; monitors expenditures; assists in reviewing, evaluating and deciding on appeals in a department's program administrative hearings.
- Performs basic fiscal analyses and prepares recommendations relating to the status of various fund balance projections, fiscal transactions, and related financial activities.

- Assists with providing departmental fiscal and accounting oversight by monitoring and managing contracts, grants, and other funding and expenditure sources.

- Assists in analyzing and interpreting contracts, and coordinating the resolution of contract disputes and disagreements.
