Associate Attorney

Roles and Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, and other domestic relations cases.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Engage in negotiation, mediation, and courtroom advocacy.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, providing legal guidance and updates on case progress.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop strategies and case approaches.
• Assist in expanding the firm's practice areas, including potential development of a criminal defense practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Washington State Bar.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in family law required.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year.

• Full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts).
• In-person work required at our Port Orchard, WA office.
