Associate Controller

A renowned University is seeking an Assistant Controller. The Assistant Controller will oversee financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and tax filings in accordance with GAAP, collaborate with auditors, and support month-end/year-end closing and cash flow forecasts. Responsibilities also include managing investment accounting, supporting student accounts, developing internal controls, and driving process improvements. The role involves coaching the accounting team and ensuring efficiency across departments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent
• CPA certification
• 5+ years of supervisory experience
• Experience with Oracle Cloud preferred
• Strong financial systems and reporting skills
• Experience in higher education or nonprofits preferred

Compensation: $180,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
