Key job responsibilities
\tProviding ongoing legal counsel across a range of fields, with emphasis on emerging technologies, and privacy and personal data protection
\tDriving regulatory compliance initiatives
\tStructuring, drafting, and negotiating licensing, marketing, and other commercial agreements
\tProviding ongoing legal counsel across various additional domains including intellectual property, digital media, and regulatory compliance
\tSome travel may be required
A day in the life
You will provide legal support for various teams within the Prime Video business. Prime Video delights customers around the world by delivering must-see movies, series, and premium sports within a seamless streaming experience. You will be a legal and thought partner for the business on day-to-day matters as well as long-term strategic imperatives. You will own determining regulatory compliance strategy with respect to personal data and content security across Prime Video. And you will play a critical role in developing strategy, compliance tactics, and legal advice relating to emerging technologies such as AI. Our lawyers get to solve a constant flow of complex challenges in a growing and exciting business. You will play a central role in shaping that future.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in private practice or in house experience at a technology company or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Experience in web services/cloud computing, software licensing, telecommunications or equivalent
- Passion for working at the intersection of technology and entertainment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $195,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
