The Associate Director, Financial Planning and Analysis is a key partner in the firm who leads the annual revenue planning effort to build revenue forecasts, develops and maintains complex financial models, performs scenario planning and sensitivity analysis, as well as partners with cross-functional teams to coordinate and update various iterations of the annual budget book. This role will be an active participant in the annual operational budgeting process in addition to analyzing and implementing long-range plans to support the needs of a growing business.

Cornerstone Research is offering a competitive market base salary for this position. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position in all eligible locations. This range may differ based on your geographic location and cost of living considerations. At Cornerstone Research, we believe compensation is more than just a base salary. We offer a competitive total compensation package that includes an annual performance bonus and comprehensive benefits such as flexible options for healthcare, paid time off, and retirement savings.

How You'll Help Our Team Succeed:
- Lead the annual revenue planning effort to build revenue forecast for the annual budget.
- Manage the distribution of revenue surveys and compile data for revenue forecasts and bill rate analysis.
- Own and maintain the financial model used to project revenue and hiring needs across a multiple year horizon, entailing analyzing trends and manipulating large datasets.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.
- Participate in various strategic planning initiatives and provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision making.
- Design and implement scalable financial planning and analysis processes that support the needs of a growing business.
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
- 12+ years of relevant experience that demonstrates increasing capability and responsibility; professional services experience required.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
- Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis, including experience building models from scratch for various scenarios.
- Experience in SQL, SSRS and Power BI a plus.
- Successful track record leading financial processes, systems, and analytics.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial statement analysis.
- Highly collaborative, solutions-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
- High attention to detail and solid organizational skills with excellent ability to communicate both visually and verbally across all levels of the organization.
- Strong proficiency in financial planning and budgeting software. Experience using Planful is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leadership and providing financial insights to drive business decisions.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable conclusions.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of key business drivers and their impact on financial performance.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and the ability to create compelling dashboards and reports.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a strong desire to drive continuous improvement.
- The desire to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and the firm

- Strong business acumen and the ability to learn the firm's financial and operational functions

- Relevant professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or equivalent are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
