Job Description

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Psych ER, Extended Observation Beds, Mobile Crisis, lnterim Crisis, Crisis Residential Services, and CPEP Bridgers.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the day to day operations of the CPEP Psych ER/EOB, the Mobile Crisis Team and associated services and programs including interim Crisis, and CPEP Bridger programs
2. Develops operating plans, programs, policies and procedures to implement program goals and
objectives.
3. Plays a critical leadership role in the implementation of strategic short and
long-term initiatives.
4. Overall information and quality management responsibilities for CPEP programs.
5. Assists BH department head in the development of policies and procedures and uses these
resources as a framework for accomplishing goals and objectives.
6. Resolves issues relating to staffing, utilization of hospital facilities, equipment and supplies.
7. Holds regular staff meetings to communicate progress in meeting program goals.
8. Develops and presents metrics to evaluate program's financial and operational performance.
9. Other duties and tasks as directed.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Master's Degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Health Care Specialization, Social Work, Psychology or related field; and
2. Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in hospital or regulatory agency administration, with particular emphasis on development and evaluation of mental health delivery services; or
3. Possession of a valid license and current registration to practice in a mental health field issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
