: UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Software Engineer in New York, NY.

We're looking for an Associate Director, Software Engineer to:
Work on the fixed income rates eTrading solutions to handle trading, pricing, and regulatory reporting requirements using ION technology and API. Develop and install new bespoke ION components.
Refactor and enhance existing components and solutions.
Provide support to production issues, keeping the DEV and QA environments functioning, and providing release support.
Collaborate with other global IT teams. Assist production operations team in rollout and production support.
Develop medium to large complex applications using Java, object-oriented design concepts and apply design patterns. Use development tools and systems including JIRA, TeamCity, Git and Maxen.
Salary & Work Schedule: $135,300 to $200,000 Per Year, 40 hrs/wk. This notice is being posted in connection with an application for permanent Alien Labor Certification. Education & Experience Requirement
This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer Intern, Assistant Systems Engineer, or related occupation.
Alternate Education & Experience Requirement
The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer Intern, Assistant Systems Engineer, or related occupation in lieu of a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience.
Position requires experience with the following:
Core Java, Eclipse, Ant
multithreaded and network programming
Linux, Git
Agile methodology, SDLC, Python
